ScarWork is a priority in our practice at this time. We offer individual treatment and monthly clinics offered by Certified ScarWork therapists. Clinic treatments are a non-refundable, nominal cost and have both a treatment and educational focus. By invitation only. Please contact us to request an invitation. Registration is open for our next 2024 class-October 3-6th. We generally offer ScarWork in Charlotte, NC during April-May and then again in early October. Additional classes are offered on demand for preformed groups of 7-10 students. Thursday through Sunday. Class starts 10 am on Thursday and ends 3 PM on Sunday. Our classes are limited to 10 participants for a small and personalized learning environment. October 3-6th, 2024. $585 early registration before August 15th, $625 after early registration date. Cancellations six weeks before the class date are full refund minus $100 administrative fee. Tuition is nonrefundable four weeks before the class start date. Covid positive refunds can be given within two weeks of class and require a submitted lab test within 15 days of the request. Refunds are given if the class has to be cancelled or rescheduled for any reason.

This 24 hour workshop is in person and is taught over four days. This seminar leans on the haptic teaching and learning style introduced by Sharon Wheeler. It will be hands-on clinic intensive with models from the community for a total of 24 NCBTMB CEs. Participants will have the opportunity to work with a variety of scars and be introduced to basic awareness for orienting themselves and clients in a therapeutic setting.

ScarWork Models

Models may be needed throughout the year for Sharon Wheeler’s ScarWork method. These usually come in three different ways.

ScarWork Training Seminars. No cost, educational setting. Treatment is by manual therapists training in the ScarWork method.
ScarWork Clinics. Low cost, treatment by therapists already Certified in Sharon Wheeler’s ScarWork. Some educational context for the clinic format. Models receive treatment from various therapists attending the clinic. Clinics offered quarterly. Some clinics may have a particular focus.
Photo or Treatment Video Models. Usually this is offered to current clients in our practice who may be interested in having some portion of their treatment photographed or recorded. Educational focus. No cost to current clients. Interested new clients will need to first schedule a New Client Virtual Consultation online.
Acute Needs and Financial Limitations. Difficult, complex and untreated scars, clients with limited or no ability to pay for treatment can reach out to us directly to discuss your interest in receiving ScarWork treatment. We accept a limited number of clients gratis or sliding scale as needed.
